This package of marine-oriented science activities has been developed to assist teachers in coastal communities in incorporating the sea into their teaching curricula.

Describes the distribution and migration of six species of Pacific salmon and two species of trout, as well as fishing activity and the Salmonid Enhancment Program (SEP).

A guide prepared at the request of teachers and students ; pictures and brief descriptions of aquatic insects are included. The life cycle and collection of insects are covered among other topics.
